The Shooting Range

This was my submission for ChallengeChester 2022, where the brief was to make an environmental scene that fit the theme "What was I doing?". The challenge was to create an environment that would allow a returning player to re-learn and practice the controls of a game. I chose to make a shooting range, as I wanted to challenge myself and model weapons for the first time.

I chose to make a scene with a grunge aesthetic, as I thought it would fit well within a first-person shooter game. The idea is that the player would be able to choose and try out different weapons placed on the crates, and aim for the targets on the walls and the dummies.

The scene was made over the course of 2 days. The models were made in Blender and textured in Substance Painter.
